Buoy magazine is a literary arts publication produced by Forward House  – a non-profit community for individuals living with mental health issues. We exist to provide a place where creative expression can be a "Buoy" in the lives of those touched by mental illness and uplift their spirits. 

Our annual issues explore a given theme through various artistic forms such as poetry, photography, visuals arts and creative writing. By showcasing participants’ talents, Buoy indirectly helps combat stigmas; demonstrating that people are more than just a “mental illness”.
